Dxtory recording too dark?

MarkSkoog

I've Got It
Whats up everyone I am having an issue recording in Dxtory that it's coming out way too dark I did recently change my codec I use the lagarith lossless codec and it gave me some trouble I used to record with the stock Dxtory codec and that seemed to work fine maybe I just answered my own question but does anyone know why the recording comes out dark ?

Thanks,
Mark

I use lagarith lossless codec with dxtory as well, but my recordings are fine. What are you watching the recordings with? Sometimes Windows Media Player will "auto-enhance" or "auto-fix" your video and make it look different than what it is.

So I use Sony platinum 13 as my editing software and when I render it out I render it just like I would every time and in the preview window the brightness looks fine on the timeline the video looks fine but everytime after rendering it whether it's in the preview window or on YouTube itself it just gets darker only after the render and I don't know what settings to change in rendering to make the brightness stay the same instead of making it darker

Well, if everything looks fine until the render, then it sounds like Sony Platinum is to blame, not Dxtory. But that's really weird if only dxtory videos render darker.. If you change the codec does it render fine?

sooo ive tried 3 different render settings in sony platinum and that's definitely to blame. I tried mainconcept avc which came out dark sony avc did too but wmv 1080p came out bright but with black borders haha i cant win i thinks its sony.[DOUBLEPOST=1418531657,1418531318][/DOUBLEPOST]do you know any render settings that would work? or are you unfamiliar with sony platinum
