Does Youtube count as self employed?

Hi guys, we went in recently to open a new bank about for our channel to allow for monetization.

After realising that this might require a business account we put it on hold for the time being.

Does youtube need a business account or can a personal account be used?

You can use whichever type of account you choose... Google doesn't care.

At the end of the year, Google will send a 1099-MISC form for your tax records.
