Do successful YouTubers ever quit while their channels are going well?

I've seen plenty of successful channels quit. All though most don't because youtube even at its worst is better than most jobs out there.
 
Some just lose interest in their channel topics and in some cases still had a regular job that they went back to, OR I've seen some people who get a job opportunity because of their channel and they feel it will provide better long term stability so they pursue that and spend way less time working on their channel. With really really big YouTubers I think it would only be for personal / health reasons or to follow a different endeavor that interests them more. Successful could be a variety of different channel sizes.
