Decent recording software that's free/low-cost?

I currently use the free version of Bandicam, however I'm just wondering if there might be another option. I'd prefer:

• Price range of free to $15
• Small watermark, or even better none at all

Definitely OBS Studio from me, it's free and gives you a lot more control and quality than bandicam does with no watermark. I'd suggest watching some tutorials to get It setup. A lot of big YouTubers use OBS just because it's a good piece of recording software. There's also Dxtory that will cost you $20 and is pretty good, doesn't use up much of your computers resources and you can download different codecs to record with it which gives you flexibility as you don't have to keep buying new recording software just to use their codec.

Another option is Nvidias shadowplay. It only works if you have a somewhat new graphics card (GTX 600/600M and upwards) but it works really good and has a small performance impact on your pc.
