Creative Nation?

I've been partnered with CN for over a year now and have experienced no issues. Of course my expectations for a network are pretty low. I just want to get paid on time, get a decent CPM, and have issues resolves in a timely manner. CN has done all three things pretty well. My pay has been on par with what my friend gets from Curse, and every time I've messaged support I've gotten an answer within a few days. I have heard of payments being suspended or not paid out due to b******t copyright claims though, and if they ever try to pull that on me I'll be leaving immediately.

I wont argue with you becouse i can't tell what are other networks CPM. What i can tell you is that i've compared with one of my real life friends the views and earnings for the last 30 days ( 3-4 months ago... I'm with Creative Nation he is with Freedom) and I had lower views with a couple hundreds than him but with a few $ more than him. But again this probably depends on other factors aswell.

Not sure where the myth has come from that different networks have different CPMs, unless they're selling ads directly to your channel (which is generally only for the top tier YouTubers, they're not going to pitch other smaller or random channels because they're not desirable to advertisers) then you won't really see a difference per network.

This is what I've been talking about 100 times here. MCN cannot affect your CPM unless you are not big enough to get their own "premium" ads (which is very unlikely to happen).

To conclude about creative nation:

- They take whatever channel in their CMS
- They unlink channels without notice
- They don't provide any service and take 10% of your revenue
- They are constantly late in payment
- There is no response from the support
- They can decide not to pay you
- They can take 50% of your income if you receive a strike
- They can cut your monetisation

Anything else to add?

CreativeNation is good for small channels ( I'm a small channel) I always got my payment on time ( sometimes ealrier) I never had any issues with them. My only problem was/is that the forum is like a ghost town and Shane actually replied to my status with this:

We've now got multiple developers now working full-time within our office creating a brand new platform for our partners to help increase channel growth and communication/ collaboration between channels!

Within the next few months (no exact release date because we've been way off in the past with dates..) we'll role out our new platform to all channels and we envision that this should cause new activity to happen among partners :)

Atleast he didnt give a release date...

Well, Curse also gives 90% revenue share + no lock-in contract with only $1 threshold and they are for real. Except it's not easy to get in. They are a bit strict regarding your channel's contents + subscribers/views. That said, doesn't hurt to try to apply. I think they are the best network for gaming channels for sure. I have one sub channel partnered with them for about a year now. They are a legit good company with real people who work hard to keep their network in shape.

If Curse doesn't accept you. I'd go with Vultra. My main channel has been with them for 2 years now and they haven't done anything scammy to me like Creative Nation did. Always pay every month. They only give 50% revenue share (scale up if you have more subs) but they have the highest CPM. I think almost double of Creative Nation & Curse's CPM last I checked a few months back. With 1 year contract. That said I don't think their staff care about you much. I sent in a support ticket and haven't heard back in a month. And I don't hear people talk about them much these days it's like they aren't even recruiting new channels or something. Kind of just letting the network run by itself automatically. So if you don't care much about communication/support but want high CPM and a stable payment every month - then I'd say you can consider going with them.
CPMs do not change by network unless they are selling ads specifically for your channel. Your channel probably won't be directly sold ads unless you have a very very big channel.

Creative Nation is a relatively horrible network. Nothing the talent scout tells you matters, and the worst part is that they know it too. The only thing that will hold true is the agreement, take the time to read the agreement, print it and take it to a legal professional. Youtube Networks such as mashitima and creative nation are skilled at making rather sneaky terms in their agreements, so its worth the price to have a legal pro interpret it. Remember the AGREEMENT is what matters, until you see it, assume that everything a "talent scout" tells you is 100% pure uncut horsesh--.
