You've inspired me, I'm going to make a vlog about how I make my music now. I'll go ahead and tell you the main things now. I use a crappy mic I stole from my dad's karaoke machine, I play a Les Paul, I record into a VS 2400 from the 90's (it's a 24 track console, very out of date) My drums are not real, neither are they programmed, I've become an efficient keyboard drummer lol. I play the drums on the keyboard just like someone would play the piano on a keyboard. Instead of a bass I use something called a "hellcat" It's right in between a bass and a guitar (but don't confuse it as a donkey bass because it's tuned to E) and this is why I can get a unique sound because the it's a low enough frequency to add base, but a high enough frequency that you can make chords on it. So alot of my songs the bass is being played just like a guitar with chords, not sure how noticeable it is, but I think it's pretty neat.Yah man, I was impressed.
