Confused about Embedded Views...

I was just checking the analytics on one of my videos. Under 'embedded player on other websites' the top website is DailyMotion. I've very confused by this (though grateful for the views!).

I've been uploading my videos separately to both YouTube and DailyMotion (NOT embedding the YouTube video on Daily Motion). But these analytics seems to suggest that DailyMotion has embedded the YouTube video somewhere? Anyone know what's going on? Baffled.

People sometimes post videos to other networks. As random as it might be, some videos can be viewed in very weird places

Thanks! I didn't know it was even possible to embed videos on DailyMotion. I thought you could only upload directly.

The reason I want to understand it is because I'd love to replicate it! It was a significant amount of views compared to the other sources.

I'm not entirely sure, I'm sure people can post it somewhere on the website. Forums, comment sections, it might be somewhere there.

Maybe you can isolate it one day, and emulate the success for it.
