Going directly into USB is the best way with video right? Or should i get a video capture card and use an hdmi input? It seems sorta pointless to get a VCC why are they so expensive when usb can stream 5MB/s ? I don't know too much about the entire benefits of going one way, the other, or the "preferred method".
Note that the camera's mic is disabled; I am using a separate mic and am using a Sony Cybershot TX10 (it's all I have laying around lol) to record video.
I understand on analog sources why a VCC is better, but I see some VCC's with only an hdmi input; is there something I don't know? I tried using google but it's search parameters were too general.
