Browsers that disable auto play

I saw that in the upcoming macOS high sierra, safari will disable auto play on videos if you choose that option. I assume all browsers will have that someday too

How will this affect your videos? Will that count as a view with 0:00 watch time or not a view at all until you you hit play manually? I guess the up next auto play won't work the same way either.


What say you?

I doubt most people will disable auto play even if the option is there to disable it as it's not very hard to just press pause when a video starts if you really need to do something else before watching it.

I generally have autoplay disabled on my YouTube settings, because I find it can be kind of annoying and I like to choose what I watch next myself.
