Yo guys n gals hope your all having an awsome day :)

So this week ive been contact by several networks asking me to join them. Now iv always seen advice on here not to bother when you are small. So im asking at what stage would you guys recommend listening to the networks emails etc and deciding which one to partner with.

I know its my choice and when i think i should but i respect ur guys advice so any help is appreciated!

I also get a lot of emails from networks. I delete everyone of them. I have 19k channel views, way too small to start any kind of revenue sharing. But to be fair, I would also rather do it all myself than sign on to a network.

However if I were to join one, I'd wait until I had 1000+ subscribers, assuming you are already pumping out regular content as well.

I believe that the networks just send out spam mail to any YouTube content creator who has over X amount of subscribers, because I get them whenever I pass whatever threshold, and none of them are personalized, or look like they've taken even one look at my content at all.

I'm not entirely convinced that networks do much good. I haven't seen anything they give you other than views from other people in the network, a dashboard, and maybe some free music.

Yeah 1000+ seems like a good amount, it's also what Curse uses as a prerequisite for partners. It assures at least some level of quality control

Thats what i always said was after 1000 subs i would maybe consider a network. Im glad that has been said again.

I get these so-called "scouting emails" all the time; not only in my YouTube message section, but sometimes in my normal email too; which tells me they at least look at one's About section on occasion.

Pity they don't bother to read the About section while they are at it. I clearly state that I am already with a network, state the one I am with, and say I'm not interested in changing. And if/when I do leave the network I am currently with, I may well fly solo. I have none of the usual issues which cause people to want to "shelter" within a network.
