Auto-focus camera suggestion

Posting Mad!
Hi everyone I'm new here after lurking for a while and now I have a question. Do you have some suggestions for a camera to shoot video for no more than $100. I'm not looking for much but I do have some fairly basic wants; 1. auto-focus (like my phone does between close and far) 2. solid, fluid frame rate, not jerky, 3. records in mp4 format (to avoid larger file sizes). Keep in mind my target price of $100, I've looked around and can't find a match to my (what seems like) basic features my phone can do, but not in a digital camera. Thanks for helping me out with your thoughts and tips.

For 100, chances are your phone is going to be better than nearly anything you can pickup. (unless it's a really old second hand model)

I was hoping to avoid thinking this. My phone isn't a top of the line device either (it's the Moto G) and it shoots video better than cameras in the $100 range. Strange how a $200 phone out performs a camera that does one thing.
I'll try going into Best Buy sometime and playing around with the cheap cameras in person to see if they have auto-focus because on Amazon it doesn't say whether they do or don't on most. AF is sort of needed for what I am looking to do with it. Thanks everyone.

I was looking at cheap cameras myself, and honestly I don't think you will find a camera with auto focus for under $100. Good luck though.

Canon Powershot ELPH 110 HS, if you look youll find it for around 100. not gonna post any sites cause it's against rules but for your BEST price, you should be able to BUY it ;)

With that budget I would probably start looking into buying a second hand (used) camera, then you might be able to find something. I can't really check it out for you since I'm from Denmark and really don't know the proper channels for buying used at your place (which I don't know where is, but I'm guessing the US).

Thanks for the replies everyone, I didn't realize auto-focus wasn't as basic a features as originally thought. I'll look into those canon cameras at best buy, there are a few online and good prices (better than amazon) but i'll fool around with them in store to see if they do indeed have the features I want. Thanks again.
