Attracting the opposite sex

ImJustAsBad

I Love YTtalk
I wonder if studying those lectures, blogs, etc... about attracting the opposite sex can help with being more presentable on camera. For example, the halo effect. The idea behind that is people will ignore you bad habits, ideas, view, treatment, etc... if you are able to make them focus on your good habits (being charming, up beat personality, cheerful, clean clothing, etc...). I think if you are able to incorporate the halo effect in your videos you may attract more people to watch your videos. What do you all think?

Attempting to attract the opposite sex won't work if they're uninterested in a channel's content. Having a great personality will not change how a person looks. We're all sexy in our own special ways.

i think for a guy being shirtless with abs and have small feminine features like liking same stuff that girls do or even gay features. will attract a lot, A LOT of girls. so then you can be the pretty boy swag on youtube and carry on with your videos. this is ment to sound like a joke but its quite real as well.

hmm, I don't think I got my point across. I don't mean to take everything they show, just some of the ideas. Basically cut the crap out and use some of the key points. Obviously you don't want to just strut around in tight clothing because in the long run it will not last. But you would want to take some of their advice like being more positive, smile more, doing one good thing a day, etc...

true. you should be a nice person anyway not just on camera but honestly on youtube its more of a physical attraction which is kinda sad. ppl kinda want you to be the whole package. not all but most just want you to be this good looking nice sweet person that makes you laugh and entertains you in some way and maybe gives you attention in some way(tweets you, replies you or something)

yeah, the halo effect will only work for me if it the halo covered my face. hahahaha

Won't work... Most of the people I'm subbed to are guys with really weird, stupid, or insane content. One I don't like guys, two most of the people I watch all the time are normal or weird looking, and three, most people could care less of how you carry yourself as long as you're entertaining. I didn't attract my girlfriend (at the time the girl of my dreams) by being artificial, I was myself and she liked it. I couldn't live life being artificial, it wouldn't feel comfortable.

My point is, don't be fake. People eventually see through it and it's probably a pain in the a** to act a certain way just to please others. I do change slightly based on my surroundings, but my roots are my roots. My GF says one of the things she likes about me is that I act how I really feel instead of sugar coating everything like a lot of our friends do.

Point well taken. Internet high five.

I don't want women watching my videos anyway, they all start f*****g crying over me taking the p**s out of their favorite youtubers that they fantasize over.

I'm happy being a ******** and hanging with all the other dickheads. I leave all that happy clappy ******** to other people
