Any disadvantages on Windows 8 with gaming accesories or recording softwares?

[Invisible]

Hello fellow gamers,

Im pretty much happy with windows 7 but one day that time comes when upgrading is a good idea.
Im having concerns if upgrading windows at this moment (from 7 to 8) is a good idea or not yet?

While its a newer program, but there may still be some disadvantages upgrading it.
etc.: i seen recently some kind of joystick, which was supported to run on by vista, windows 7 but windows 8 was not in the list of supported platforms. There may be more similar issues but as long as i havent checked this before i have no knowledge how other software / hardware / accesories runs on windows 8.

Please share your experience with windows 8 - if it works with all your desired software / hardware / accesories needed for gaming (and other) videos creation? And what in your opinion/experience is advantage or disadvantage windows 8 vs windows 7?

Thank you very much in advance!

I know for skype if you are going to talk with someone, sometimes the windows 8 version (not the desktop version) makes you harer to hear from the other persons computer, but other then that, Windows 8 is great!
