After effects + Premier?

Hey all,
So currently i edit my videos with after effects and after effects only. I do all effects, editing, putting together of audio and clips and rendering in after effects.

Would you recommend buying Adobe Premier to do my composition and putting together of clips? Then i will do all special effects and color correction in after effects.

What are your thoughts? What do you personally use? Is their any other programmes or way of doing it that you would be recommend? I am really intrested.

my opinion may not mean much since I currently use Windows Movie Maker and have only used trial versions of both products, BUT i say if you have the opportunity to get premiere, I say go for it! i personally feel it's easier to put clips together in premiere. and plus the two programs work great in conjunction with each other. Like I said, this might not mean much considering I don't use these regularly nor do I have much knowledge of them, but I hope this helped even a little!
 
I use both of these programs, i'd say get premiere pro, trust me, it's faster with dealing with clips that don't require special fx, and on after effects you need to render frames to watch with sound, I use after effects for special effects and put it in premiere pro for the final project if i were you i'd go for it it'll save you alot of time rendering

I use Premier elements and i find that it puts less load on your computer then Premiere pro but of course thats my opinion and i dont have the fastest computer but I definately say go Premiere as its way faster to put clips together. Hope that helps!
