Adsense....

Hey guys I recently got an adsense account so if anyone can tell me is everything pre set for me in my adsense to start making money or do i have to add extra ads?
Another thing is do you get paid per view or per click on ad?
Sorry im new to adsense and the monetization idea so im not sure if the website is already ready and. My friends say some of the videos that are monetized dont have ads? i checked and i had enabled them and they were glowing with the $ sign?

I wouldnt recommend using Adsense on your videos, partner with a network first as they allow you to legally monetise most games

You ned to click the money sign and make sure the types of ads you want are clicked then you need to add a bank card and confirm your self on adsence. A warning though if you have any copyright content and you monetise it you can have your adsence banned
