Generally when would you enable a Google Adsense account? I haven't done it yet because I don't feel it is necessary for now until getting a higher amount of views.

If you're having 200+ Subs then do it.. But the most important stuff is that make sure your Subscribers are actually your regular viewers!

I did it straight away, you never know if something will go viral. I saw some guy just recorded the opening sequence of the simpsons and it went viral a few months ago, surely he wouldn't get the ad money though?

Good. It annoyed me that he got such a popular video just by putting up something from the simpsons. At least do something creative with the simpsons like making a clip of all the different deaths of Hans Moleman

Right now. You don't have to monetize your videos, but you want to have Adsense set up so you can just flip the switch should one of your videos take off (like the other poster mentioned). It won't affect anything to create your adsense account and link it so you might as well do it.
