Adobe After Effects or Sony Vegas

Are there any other vloggers on here using these two programs ?
I find I can do most of my work in Vegas but when it comes to green screen I find after effects to be far better at editing the green screen.
I am interested in any of your thoughts especially if you use Sony Vegas to edit green screen with great results.
 
Well that is like Apples and Oranges... After Effects is a program for doing effects after you edit.. Vegas is an editing program.. It would be better to compare Adobe Premiere to Vegas... Never uses After Effects to edit.. it will only frustrate you and make you say Adobe sux.. Which it does not.
 
I would never say adobe sux, I think its a great program but its killing my pc when rendering clips up to 16 mins long, That why I thought id ask if people on here have used vegas with green screen and had the success that you have with after effects, For me when using vegas with green screen, it never looks real if you know what I mean, where as After effects handles it with great results.

True the render is can take a bit.. But if youa re doing Effects I'd stick with After Effects the green screen Tech is amazing.. Even AVIDs green screening can't compare with After Effects.
 
Well for the past year I had been using After Effects to edit my videos and I just switched to Premiere, I felt so stupid for using AE. I love After Effects for special effects though, haven't tried Sony Vegas yet.
