34k views no money?

I've Got It
My recent video had 34k views, yet according to my analytics, it's only made $0.01 (See attached) Could this be caused by people using Adblock or is something else wrong?

hm, how long was the video? if it was only a few seconds there may not be time to put ads in properly. check your monetisation settings on that video, is the right ads ticked?
check your google adsense account directly, go to products and find your channel, that should tell you almost exactly what you have currently earned

All monetized as it should be and the video was 6 minutes long. Google AdSense doesn't seem to update with Youtube very fast, or I'm just looking at it wrong.

go to google adsense - performance reports - products - hosted adsense for content. hopefully that should help you see a daily earnings thats current or at least only an hour or two out at the most
 
If the views came from the embed on a website this may not be available for monetization. Furthermore your video may be in a low earning niche or views came from a low earning country.[DOUBLEPOST=1475233527,1475227436][/DOUBLEPOST]Just another thing that popped up in my mind. Do you have any third party content claims on the video?

No issues with the video, must be because most of the views came from Reddit.

Maybe youtube have not updated the information as yet. just wait and see.

Embedding will not hurt rev. In fact I almost think it helps. I've earned more per view than any other way with embedded videos. I've literally made over $125 for only 7,000 views somehow when some animal website shared my video, I've never seen anything like this.

I'm thinking check for 3rd party hits like you mentioned.

maybe its easier to target ads on sites?
