I often hear that you should "attain views from outside YouTube social media communities". I'm wondering what are some of your experiences or good practices in attaining views from outside your niches and social communities. Do you promote your channel outside your niche and even offline?

I have researched many different ways to promote your video. I have gotten everything from twitter, to instagram, to youtube talk, to reddit, and a lot more. I am just curious what is working for everyone, and where have you found the most success with promoting you videos and your channel?
