YouTube won't let me monetize my latest video...

Hey Guys,

So this is a weird one... YouTube won't let me monetize on my latest video.
It briefly involves the Trident Chewing Gum logo but that surely can't be it can it? They didn't give me details. There is no music in the video either.

Do I need to tick the product placement box even though Trident haven't paid me to show their brand?

is it stuck "under reveiw" or did they send you an email?

if its stuck under review they seem to do that every 4 or 5 videos I am finding. In most cases they then email you (i swear they are not looking at the video even I think its a bot and an automated email) and tell you if you want it monetized to submit proof and they threaten you about not giving in things that are not monetizable. I have seen people standing in front of the camera against a white wall just talking about what they had for breakfast not even holding the cereal box get turned down. I think its part of their check and balance system. :) You can try to fight with them over it or you can just ignore it and monetize the next video lol.

I tested this out a few weeks ago they allowed me to monetize the identical video 3 times in a row and then refused the last one cause you know its not mine or whatever. I then realized that its likely an automated bot system just doing it to make your life exciting!
 
Haha I love automated bots that make my life exciting! Yeah i'm not too fussed. Just a small YouTuber so ad revenue aint a big deal to me.

I actually had a rant to them about the threatening nature of their "we can't monetize your stuff" and if you are not careful we are going to deactivate your account cause I am convinced its some kind of bot doing this lol. Anyhow you can fight with them I asked them to stop cutting and pasting me canned responses and like maybe help instead of just cutting and pasting and got a response finally. It wasn't helpful it was like "we can't give copyright advice" and i was like .. okay.. but you just disabled my video for something you felt I dont have permission to use and I submitted all my documentation so can you like tell me what is missing in this documentation. I am waiting for them to tell me what they are missing .. it took them several weeks to answer my email to start with.. :p

i do beauty videos and i show products like makeup, hair products, skin products, and so do lots of people, so it cant be that you showed a packet of gum. sometimes they just randomly reject some of my videos too and i have no idea why. out of 32 videos, they have rejected 4. they have monkeys pushing buttons over there, who the hell knows.

monkeys would do a better job!
