Using Creative Commons Videos

I want to screen capture a creative commons video to use in my project. I will give full attribution. Will this be allowed by YT? thx
 
If you are planning to screen cap a YouTube video from a channel you don't own, you will be violating YouTube's Terms of Service. You also will not be able to monetize such a project; as the channel owner will most likely either claim your video under Content ID, or strike your channel, plus CC media in general is no longer considered monetizable by YouTube due to reuse by many people.
