Two strikes (Community Guidelines)

I'm new here,I received my first strike from 06.04.2014 Community Guidelines, and I received my second strike 13/07/2014, my doubt is when my first strike will expire?
 
Usually this is stated on your channel. It usually expires after 6 Months, but to my understanding this is only the case if you don't get another one, also use this video to fix your channel link:

if you get second one, it will be like: in the beginning expires the first strike after 6 Months and then the second one after additional 6 months.

So you're saying it'll take a year for both strikes to disappear? I just assumed they would each disappear 6 months to the day they were received.
