I Love YTtalk
So iv'e been on YouTube forums for quite a while now, and the one thing i have noticed since iv'e got back on it is im struggling to get views on my channel it's difficult. Also there are a few people on the forums that warn me about promoting my videos or copying and pasting, but to be honest i don't know everything about the forums my friend Callan told me about it. Since then i have been posting my videos replying to peoples posts Etc.

I'm not arguing with anyone nor am i having a go at anyone i am trying my best with my channel so please bare with me!

Sorry about this and hope you are all well :)

I uploaded a video yesterday and it still didn't get 100 views. Do I complain about it? No. Such is the YouTube life. Stop looking at the numbers and focus on creating content. Sure, everyone wants big numbers, but the reality is that 99.9% of YouTube will never see that in short order. It takes time. My most watched video is over 67k now. Eyeopener to what is possible, even for a small YouTuber such as myself. It just takes the right content. Sometimes you will have videos that under-preform (such as my latest car show video) and sometimes you have ones that keep pulling in the views even though you can't figure out why. Who likes Saabs anyway? Apparently a lot of people, because it still gets 100+ views a day, and it has been like that since the video went up. It will overtake the mustang video in total views, and might even be the first to break 100k! (it's close, I still hope the mustang takes that cake).

Be yourself, be an active part of your community, never post links to your videos on YouTube comments or ask for people to check out your channel. All have to happen organically. If you have to ask, you're not worth it.

No offense but you have over 2500 messages here... I mean you should be accustomed to the rules by now...
Anyways... for the view struggling... Try a new approach? Write new jokes and implement them in your videos when its needed, talk about things that are relevant and interesting to talk about/make jokes about and generally bond with your audience. Well hope this helps... here are a video giving few tips I made a while ago:

I truly believe it takes patience.. unless you have a super viral video or getting views from another already established source... I remember my first few weeks I had like 3 views and now I am getting about 125 (total )view per day .. Which isn't a ton but not bad since I started in May... and that number keeps going up slowly by a few each day. I have seen some big Youtubers say that they had under 1000 sub the first year or that they were on Youtube for 5 years before people started watchign their videos lol

We delete and block self promotion because if everyone posted like that, the forums would be destroyed. No one would want to read the forums if the main priority of everyone's post were to get their stuff noticed. The point of YTtalk is to learn about strategies that have been successful on YouTube, share the latest YouTube happenings, and talk directly to other creators. YTtalk is a tool that can be used to enhance your content. We have one video sharing forum for promotion with an advanced YTtalk membership, but the primary focus of YTtalk is developing good YouTube practices and successful strategies. If you follow the suggestions that many successful YouTubers have left here on the forum, your channel will start to improve. It also (usually) takes a lot of time -- more time than many casual YouTube viewers imagine. Most people stumble across channels after they have been well-established. It's harder to imagine the rough YouTube journey a channel has had if it is discovered after it is already successful.

Sometimes it's harder to see the bigger picture about why we are deleting those threads, but it really is for the better. If we can keep the forums clean, more and more YouTuber's will start to share their experiences about how to become successful and what works/doesn't work. That kind of information is much more helpful to learn about. ^^
