I'm a newbie at youtube and not sure where my limits are, so far as spoofing on otherwise fair use clips.
What if you took a news clip of a public figure, whether a famous radio host or political figure and added speech bubbles (implying that this is what they are really thinking) or maybe some funny sound effects in the background. Would they have grounds to make a claim against me for something like this? I'm not talking about hate speech or anything like that.
Of course their was a book calling and youtube video calling Rush Limbaugh a "Big Fat Idiot", so where is the line, is what I'm trying to figure out? What if you put a speech bubble on a politician's speech, implying he's lying?
I appreciate any insight on this subject.
