Wireless charging has never really seem to take of. The lack of support in some major flagships doesn't help the possibility for better adoption. Luckily for the people who would like to see more wireless charging, there are some OEMs that take wireless charging seriously. Within these OEMs it seems the Qi standard is winning ground. Both Google and Nokia seems to be backing the Qi standard, which is some of the major players. Asus also backs the Qi standard, at least they do through Google. The 2013 Nexus 7 supports wireless charging through the Qi standard, and Asus just released a wireless charging stand for that product - The PW100.
