We have a few videos on YouTube that has content that is completely and 100% our own copyright.

We got an email saying "Your video has been disabled from revenue sharing"

"We did not approve this video for monetization because the content in your video and/or the metadata may not be user friendly"

I dont get it, one of the videos in question is on our channel called Rudolphs Reindeer Crew. All our music and words etc.

ALSO we recently found out that YouTube went on a view deleting spree deleting views they "think" were made by bots. BUT we have NEVER used bots we have ALWAYS used GoogleAdwords so we paid for views and now they have been taken away??

AND there is NO ONE to talk to from YouTube OF COURSE!

With a little bit of research we found that other people in the past two months have received the same email from YouTube when the content is 100% theirs. A video of someones cat with no music cant receive monetization so its been disabled?

I dont understant whats going on....

YouTube have changed the way their systems work. So many people have lost subs, views, videos... hopefully they will sort this problem ASAP :/

I just got the view subtracting on my gaming channel today, haha. Glad I can actually see my progress now.

Hi and sorry to hear of your experience, you are not alone in this, I and other users have experienced videos disabled from revenue sharing at least one.

Unfortunately, YouTube's copyright and user friendliness detection algorithm leaves a lot to be desired and up until a few months the dispute process was removed leaving no process for disputes and that was the very reason why I decided to partner with a YouTube network instead, you won't encounter such random instances of erroneous disabling of your own content. All the best.
