I see a lot of people asking what Dimensions to use for different projects. So, I will list some of the basic dimensions for common Graphic Designs. If you have anything to add, let me know and I will put it on the list.

Thumbnails - 1280x720 (HD)

Timeline Cover - 835x315
Profile Picture - 500x500

Twitter -
Background - 2560x1600
Header - 1252x626

Desktop -
Wallpapers - 1280x1024

YTtalk Forums
Signature Image - 500x120
Profile Banner - 680x120

Desktop -
Wallpapers - 1280x1024

Nice list, only thing that bothers me is this. If you are wanting to list desktop wallpapers, your going to have to include more variations in size such as:
1280x720 / 1920x1080 / 1366 x 768 etc. There are so many different desktop sizes maybe its just not worth adding it to the list. Or add it in, and we can work through and add the variations we know

Haha don't worry, these babies will cost around £3,000 - £25,000 at release. Somehow I don't think many of us will be able to afford them for a long while
