for my account to get banned, i need to acknowledge the third copyright strike, what If i don't acknowledge it for 6 months? the 2 previous copyright strikes should bo removed then, and i can acknowledge this strike then without getting banned?

Are you sure the previous one will even expire? As far as I know if you get a strike while you already have another one it won't be removed. I might be wrong though.

Edit: This is what I mean:
"You may wait six months for the strike to expire. The strike will expire as long as you complete Copyright School and receive no additional copyright strikes during those six months."

From what I know, pressing just means you acknowledge the strike, you'll probably still end up getting your channel terminated, as far as I know you have 7 Days after the 3rd strike before your account is terminated, I can't say exactly though, I never gotten a strike ever, only one ID Claim and it was a false one.

What did you get them for anyway? I can't check your channel since the link doesn't work.

whats the deal with matched content? is there any limit on how many of them you can have??

Content ID Claims or Matched Content just mean your video contains something that is in YouTube's Content ID Database, they don't affect your channel hugely although I'm not sure on max you can get.

You don't acknowledge a third strike, your account is just simply terminated instantaneous when the complaint goes through. So perhaps you don't have a third strike, which is likely if you've received another DMCA complaint from the same copyright holder it may have counted as still one strike (it happens often).

good to know, I came across this thread and absolute s*** a brick because I confused strikes with matched content and I already have three of them!! Thankfully though I don’t seem to have any strikes against my account… yet.
Does anyone know what makes the difference between a matched content claim and copy right strike? Is it just whether youtube has the content in it matched ID database or not?
