Adsense and Youtube video monetization

This is my first time posting a thread here so here's my question.

I have an Adsense account because I'm a blogger and I post ads on my website, what I want to know is can you monetize your videos on YT with that adsense account without Youtube Partnership? If yes please tell me HOW.

It's easy for youtube partnership now just pretty much connect adsense with youtube! I'm a youtube partner but I don't have the banner stuff yet. http://www.youtube.com/yt/creators/partner.html follow this and just hit get started! and just connect them!

If you monetise now youre considered a partner just without as many branding features and the other perks. You connect it to your YT account even if its on another Google account, go to monetisation on YT and you enter some details for security and go through the linking process.
