Hello all! From a post on another site I have found this wonderful website called: removebg
When you upload an image to the site it automatically removes the background from the image, turning an often frustrating (I find) job into a 10 second upload and wait. I was really struggling with my most recent thumbnail, and had been stressing about it until about 5 minutes ago. Now, when it fully uploads tomorrow, I wont be worrying about such a sub-par thumbnail. Definitely worth a try!
One thing to note is that is you want to have the background and keep it at the same resolution, after the first free one you will have to pay a small amount, on a subscription or pay as you go basis. However, they do provide a scaled down version for free, which may be fine for smaller images, such as thumbnails.
